I do 1 high rise for $10,000 in 1 week,

OR you can go do 10 houses per day @ $200 per house. (Not to mention all the drive time, and all the down time between jobs)

Then I do another high rise the next week for $10,000, and so on…

Take all the house jobs you want.

Personally, I think your keyword is valuable.

But I think you are off on the “I do 1 job, you do 10 blah blah…”
Been on both sides, and although I’m newer to residentially focused, I’m still in deep enough to know.

I have my own reasons why I don’t want anything to do with that life anymore,
and I’m happier now than I’ve ever been.
So, whatever, more power to ya.

I love resi. We don’t touch commercial or highrise.

I see how it is alluring though. I just like the ease and profitability of homes.

  • you don’t have one single boss, in charge of your collective week

  • if I don’t like the way I’m being treated by one of my MANY bosses, I can walk.

  • I don’t have a week tied up in labor cost. (That I have to wait 30,60,90,120 days for, to recoup)

  • I don’t have to deal with the silly game that is, “oh, Maintenance must not have turned your invoice in”

  • "Hmm… something is wrong, and we think you should fix it… if you LIKE having this account.

  • "Well the 'decision makers say we HAVE TO take bids every year
    … don’t worry, I’m sure you’re competitive with every other schlub

The reason I was going to meet you in person was to give you a friendly message to stay away from WCR with your bullshit. Now. I really think we should discuss your strategy for making it right. I think we should discuss in person.

I have clients that fly from all over the country to meet with me and my Brand Development team. I have been doing this for years. Let the guy be him… He won’t be posting here for long… I am sure he will find somewhere else to go.

My goals are so pushed back. Start date Feb 1.

I should have my sales training software together by then. I will then hire 10 sales reps to do door to door sales.

Using my marketing materials, sales collateral, and systems. I should be able to constantly hire and fire until I find at least 5 reps that are performers.

I will continue the turn and burn on reps until I find at least 8 performers.

I could give you the break down on this from a outside sales office perspective, but it would take forever.

Just know… Instead of DM cost. I am diverting into a human resource that accomplishes both sales and marketing.

They leave door hangers when no one answers.

1 performer can sell 3 jobs per day.

1 rockstar can sell 5.
