4 way water key with carabiner?

Hello
window cleaners … Just thought i would give a shout out and say hi.
I am the guy that came out with the water key on the carabiner idea 2 years ago and sold it to quite a few window cleaning supply companies such as
HARRY FALK - and a few other companies.
No it wasn’t the greatest idea and anyone could of done it.
I am just wondering for those who have bought the key and what they think about it ? I am sure there are some pros and cons to it like anything else that is put out into the world. What i am getting at to all of this is here i am just making a product to sell and to help some workers out there. But what really gets me is when you present it to a company and they try to get you to sell it at 10 cents on the dollar to them and you refuse, They come out and make it them selfs and talk about how they were the one’s that came out with the idea … That company is in colorado … I wont mention any names but you might have a idea. I sell to a company on the east coast and now they are making there own key.Granite i could of went through a patent process but by the time i did all of that and put the money into it, what was the point. If it was a different product and i had it all engineered and it was going to be a product that would really benifit people yeah i would of patent it. to get to the point of this i was looking on the inter net and found WCR and saw that they sell window cleaning supplies. I contacted them and chris sent me a email saying they were trying to get in touch with me so i guess the stars were lined up … LOL
I am also pretty sure a lot of you have came up with a idea to put out into the market but may have not followed through it. Dont be scared or intimidated. I did a lot of burning through web sites trying to find the products i needed and seeing where i could get it the cheapest.
Once i did get all of my product i made different proto types to see how you could change it or improve the idea. I did improve it down the road and came up with the aircraft cable lanyard compared to the polypropelene lanyard. I didn’t invent the wheel … I just tried to make it better.
From what i see here at WCR all of the people i have talked to there
CHRIS / ALEX seem to be good people and i look forward to doing business with them.
Thank you for your time and i hope this does not come across wrong to CHRIS OR ALEX at WCR

By the way i am a window cleaner here in phoenix, Az

Hey there chris …
thanks for the reply. We kinda hit notes on this before in previous emails.
Just goes to show you that it is better to deal with the smaller guy than the big corporations.I am sure WCR will get big but it is the people behind it that makes it.
Customer service is everything to me.My thoughts … I would rather pay a little more to have that customer service and loyalty than buy it cheaper and have wonder why i gave them my money.

Welcome to the club.

I thought I was reading a re-creation of this past year in your business life Shawn. Where does it end?

The simplest ideas are often the best.

It’ll end when enough wcers get fed up and stop dealing w/ those con artist.
Welcome Brian and sorry to hear about your experience. Chris and Alex are the best! You’ll love working w/ them.

Thanks i appreciate it. As i have read alot of threads on WCR i see nothing but 5 star service from the gang there. I have watched some of the videos with CHRIS / ALEX and some of them are so freaking funny i just bust up LMAO.
I didn’t quite understand what Dwight Rowe was getting at whether it was a poke in the eye or if someone else came up with a idea and someone took the idea and made a profit. No offense to Dwight… i was just trying to understand it about
"where does it end " that part. So i hope i didn’t step on anyone’s toes … If i did i am really sorry because i am not about that.

Let’s just say Shawn of Reach Higher Ground feels your pain!

Tony summed it up well…Shawn relates. No hard feelings here.
