Absolutely. I did my daughters daycare provider for a months free daycare; I do a tanning salon for free tans (for my wife); I did my painters windows in exchange for him painting two bedrooms in our house. Now, if I could only work out a deal with the gas station up the street…
I’ve done some small trading like the others (nail salon traded services for my wife’s nails). One of our customers is a pizza place and she didn’t want to go up on price this year when I asked him. So I told him that he needs to feed my guys lunch the day we do his store along with the original price.
Tomorrow, we are doing a pretty big house that our t-shirt vendor owns. We are trading $400 worth of our service for his goods (our uniforms).
Thats the biggest one yet.
I do have a guy that keeps bugging me to get on a bartering system in a national organization. My only hold up is the monthly $20 fee just for using the service.
ive done trades for animal care, meals, dental work, and martial arts.
I have a little restaurant that my guys do a couple times a month in exchange for my wife and I eating their for free every week! (true story)
They love the deal, and we do too.
Takes my guys about 5 minutes to do the outside only once a month and ten minutes to do in & out once a month.
