Best/worst

What would you say is the best part of owning your own business and what is the worst part?

Best: Having the ability to work as much or as little as i want/not having to answer to anyone other than me/great tan/being outside/having a great boss:rolleyes:

Worst: no retirement/having to get own health insurance/finding good employees

Pretty much what you said but also having to find work yourself to keep busy.

Best - flexible schedule, pay increases are up to me, get to work w/ my wife, not stuck in a cubicle, etc.

Worst - health insurance up to me, self employment tax, nasty customers are my responsibility, and winter weather.

The best is that I work less hours on the job but make better pay. Time spent on the back office stuff makes your day longer but I like doing some of it. Marketing, etc.

The worst part for me? I’m too nice of a guy sometimes. I have a hard time saying “no”. I have several customers that I should let go but when they call, I’m there for them. Maybe I should just make my wife my boss, then I can blame her.

I feel exactly the same!

Best: Knowing I control the success of this company and I control my salary.

Worst: Dealing with stupid people and idiots. I control this company but not morons that think they can run a window cleaning company.

As far as health insurance goes, if I brake my arm or leg…I’m crashing my car and claiming that, my vehicle insurance will cover me:D
Although crashing my car and saying it gave me the flu is not covered:mad:
