. We did a huge home last week with tons of big custom made sliders. Really hot dry day and being able to do those with two or three strokes was a lifesaver. Last time I WFP’d them and the water filled the tracks which are wood on the inside(Doh!) So had to squeegee them this time. So just wondering if anyone else has used these cumbersome dangerously big channels(my wife hit herself in the face by trying to put it into her holster after doing a window)
Since we are mainly residential we haven’t really needed anything that big. But we just got a QuickSlayer 36", i got to use it on one of our pizza places. It was Awesome. I can’t wait to get other sizes of the Slayer so
Did you say color?? These sq are the same except color !!!
I use the 36"er quite a bit. But when I got up to 48", it seemed either the window or channel was bent, even when sticking the rubber in a slot further down. I’m probably quicker with a 36", less detailing & quicker with the pole.
karl, right on !! Most large glass has a little high and low in it!! 2 slot in the 3 ft it dosen’t show up much !! But 48 inch it does !! Have you tried it back words ?? This is just about fast!!! Ha !! Yes you can pole it backward too !! Got to hold your tounge to the left !! Ha !! Enjoy your blog !! Stan, pro window kleening
8 Ft Super Slayer being released in about 3 and half weeks… Yes I know its ridiculous… its just for fun…but we will have them…
That’s so funny I shot milk out my nose and I wasn’t even drinking any!
Perhaps it wasn’t milk…
Why not 12’???
This could be a Guinness World record breaker! You gotta see the marketing angle
why not 14 ???
I could carry a 8 but not a 14. Gotta draw the line somewhere.
Hey what about getting a 8ft squeegee rubber?
Yea thats the whole trick… Im working on it…
If anyone can do it, it’s you guys!
I’ve got about 45 feet of a 50 foot role of Sorbhole rubber that I’ll give you a good deal on.
Instant classic!
So whats the cost of 45 ft of rubber??? Thanks, stan
I pay around $60 - $70.
i bought the channels from a different supplier a couple years ago on clearance or something. i think that guys don’t [didn’t] like the fatigue felt from working with one all day.
i probably can’t give you a better answer
than this.
i hope this helps you.
Doug-again,
I use a 30’ channel daily with no fatigue, streaks or upsidedownness.
