Also my PW comes with a built in downstream barbed port for the hose:filter for jugs of detergent. Do I still need another down stream injector at this point or could I just add a shut off valve?

From my experience the built in injector that is fitted to the pumps are only effective with a short hose that comes with the pressure washer (normally around 7-10meters) after that it just doesnā€™t draw anymore.

I found is far easier to use a short garden type hose to connect to water source to machine then long hoses so you donā€™t have to stop, start and move the machine everytime you need to move.

Not sure , try that injectorfor a while see how it goes. In this business you need 2 of everything for the most part.

Thanks to you both. Yeah the volume Iā€™m going to do for PW I THINK I have a great setup. Iā€™m going to do it all correct, for example your soap info. So even though it is bad for environmental aspects, you think I should use them? I thought it was always better to use straight water pressure as to prevent all chemicals. I wonā€™t have a vacuum setup to collect al the chems, only oil and sediment socks and drain guard sacks.

the chems would depend on local ordinances probably? maybe

i know here its so hot everything dried so fast water recovery isnā€™t required as of yet anyway

Been looking into getting a pressure washer and surface cleaner. Iā€™ve had afew customers ask me about pressure washing. Used a friends it turned out ok but not how Iā€™d really like. Also thought about building a soft wash / roof rig
