Anyone making their own brushes? I have made a couple but have yet to try them out as they were made today. While shopping today for the brushes I was concerned about the bristles and which ones are do use and which ones are don’t use.
I think the ones for washing your car are just a tad too soft. They won’t clean the bug and bird junk of the windows like real WFP brushes will. For just dirt and dust they work fine though.
Try a chemical supply house. They generally will sell brushes to the car detailing companies because they also sell car cleaning chemicals to them. They will probably have a few different kind of brushes as compared to your box store like HD or Lowe’s, at least that’s what I found here locally. I never was able to make one that worked as well as a “made-for” WFP brush though…
We make all are own brushes and if you want some of our old ones at cost I will be happy to have you experiment all you want.

It really is hit & miss with the brushes - I have around 20 that I tried out, with only 2 being any good. You really can have different brushes for different windows, but watch out as some scratch!
