CCU Price Sheet

I was doing some networking and met a couple of guys that own glass and window installation businesses. I hit it off with them right away and have become some what of good friends. Every time I see them they ask me for a CCU price sheet so they can give me some business…I don’t do CCU, but if two companies want to give me CCU work, I’m down.

Here’s the issue. They want a simple price sheet. Like pictures of windows and a price below it. Does anyone here have a CCU price sheet they wouldn’t mind sharing? OR simply just help me make one…

That’s a bit tricky, Stark. I run across differing amounts of dirt and crud from one CCU gig to the next. You could give them a price sheet but make sure to have written on it that these prices are subject to change upon job site inspection. That way if they are hammered you can adjust the price as needed.

As for price I go anywhere from 2-3 times my per pane price depending on the amount of debris on the windows.

Oh, and don’t forget the waiver!!!

ya don’t have a sheet tony?
slacker

Sorry.:o
For the reasons I listed I don’t have one. I prefer to bid CCU’s in person.

Whats a waiver Tony ?

Is it a signed sheet to cover yourself befor cleaning the windows so that it covers you for any marks on the glass ?

so no one has CCU sheets?

As Tony stated, it doesn’t really make sense to have a price sheet for something as complicated (various levels of debris and access) as CCU.

yeah, I understand that point…
It almost doesn’t make sense to have a price sheet for regular homes as well because all homes are different so they need to be estimated accordingly.

I just figured that some people might have a basic CCU estimate sheet

way to bust my bubble larry!

Dear Mr Stark,

If these guys like you, tell them to trust you to come running when they call so you can bid the work in person…same day. Or better yet, jokingly ask them for simple/easy price sheet for building a home… Then take your best guess at the amount of time it’s going to take you…I know you already know what you want to make per hour. There’s your price. You’ll probably be off on the first job or two, but that’s part of the learning process. I heard you did an easy CCU at a Dunkin Donuts…didn’t it take about an hour…
How’s the weather in Charlotte? I heard there’s been some drive-by window cleanings in NC

HAHaha…

Charlotte is beautiful…damn drive by WC’ers keep messing me up

You’ve always got Pepper!

A tempered and heat strengthened glass waiver. It’s main purpose is to protect you against fabricating debris. Check out the fabricating debris page WCR has and you will get quite an education.
