The 30,000-piece Tiffany stained-glass dome at the Chicago Cultural Center is undergoing a $1.3 million cleaning/restoration, according to the Chicago Sun-Times.

The Botti Studio of Architectural Arts, which specializes in stained-glass cleaning and restoration, is cleaning the glass with a mineral-free soap originally formulated to clean horse tails and manes, per the report.
