I’ve got a question on cleaning windows with a ledge. I’ve got a bank that I do and I have to use a pole extended to about 12 feet and the top windows have a ledge of about 6-8 inches. What tools can I use to clean them right? I used a regular ettore squeegee but its tough getting the bottom edge of the the window. I know a picture would help but I haven’t taken one yet. Any suggestions on good poles besides the WFP-(I already have one).
Have you seen the UNGER zero degree squeegee? Have you heard of the ledger yet? The Ledger was invented to reach over ledges, but I like the zero degree squeegee better. I think it is way more versatile.
The zero degree squeegee does a lot more than just reach over ledges!
Ettore backflip always works.
i like the zero turn just not sure if i can clean the bottom edge right with it. the row of windows is high enough where I need the pole and cannot do it face to face unless I use a ladder but I don’t really want to unload the ladder and move it from window to window. the ledger is pretty cool and would probably work but it’s pretty pricey. I though of buying an angle adapter for my extension pole but not sure if it would work with a zero turn.
It will.
The angle adapters are great. I think they should be near the top of the list for storefront window cleaners.
You’re right the zero degree doesn’t get the water off the ledge very well.
The ledger will pay for itself the first time you use it, Don’t get the biggest one as it’s a little cumbersome , go for the next to biggest,
Just stand a little closer to the glass when you start and keep good pressure on the pole
it will.
where is your buddy Uncle Phil???
