We filmed 2 thirty second commercials back in June and I wanted to share with you. First commercial is intended to let people know we power wash. Second is to highlight window caulking.
We have ran the window caulking commercial locally 200 times since August 15th. It ran on ESPN,FOOD NETWORK, HGTV, and CNN. Response has been good not great. We did recoup our ROI. We will run the power washing spot in 2010 come late March or early April.
Keep in mind this was our first experience with tv advertising.

Good videos - I especially like when in commercials, they portray the task at hand as really overbearing or overkill. Like when the guy’s hand is full of caulk (okay…a little pun intended). Now I know who to call when I don’t want my hands full of caulk.
That’s exactly what we want potential customers to do. Our window caulking is up over 50% this year. Great add on service that has generated good revenue$$$$$$.
Great ads. What do you charge for caulking? We are currently charging $10 a window but I have nothing to compare that too. Also, I’m thinking of getting a power caulking gun, ever try one?
