Hey folks,
I have a pressure washing job coming up in a few weeks. I’ll PW’ing the driveway/walkways. Customer asked me if I could seal the concrete. I’ve never done this before. Can someone send me to a helpful resource to learn more about concrete sealing?
Just a couple questions I have:
Can it be applied right after pw’ing when the surface is still wet?
How long does it protect the concrete and what kind of guarantee can I realistically give a customer?
Thx.
Sealing concrete is really simple. Clean it and let it dry without letting a car drive over it. It should really only take a few hours to dry. You can apply the sealer with a pump up sprayer or a low nap roller.
Buy a gallon of concrete sealer from sherwin williams, ask them what they recommend and test a few areas of concrete around your house so you know how it looks. There will be three different kinds usually, one shiny, one not as shiny and one flat. Water will bead up on any of them though.
