D.i

Culliagan water wants to give me two d.i. tanks. One being a cation tank and the other is an anion tank. Does anyone else run there system like this? With running two tanks will I still get enough tap pressure to run a longer pole? What is the down side or up side to this set-up? I also just purchased a 10x6 enclosed trailer and was wondering if someone could post some pics on how to run the plumbing. Should I put the tanks in the front or the back of the trailer? How should I set-up the hose reels? And so on.
Thanks so much for all the help WCR!

running a cation/anion set up will work it will give you 0 tds or 1 meg. of water purity. DI will also give you 0 tds, but you get 18 meg. of water purity. that means DI is 18 times purer then cation/anion and it is all in 1 tank. you don’t have to worry about one tank going before the other, and you only need to rent one tank. That means more room in your trailer. If you don’t care about the room you can keep a back up tank for close to the same price.

My first set up from Culligan was two tanks (cation and anion). The Culligan guy said it would last almost twice as long as the one mixed bed tank. But it also cost twice as much per month to rent. I eventually went with the one mixed bed tank for the cost savings and space savings. We don’t use a WFP that much so one tank lasts us almost the whole season.
