Direct to Garment Printing

I’m needing to get some new work shirts with my newer logo on them and was wondering if any of you have had your shirts/logos done with DTG (direct to garment) printing – it allows for full color transfers and I think it may be a good option since my logo has a few different colors in it. (see attached proof).
Does anyone know of a good online place to get them done? I don’t think there’s anyone local that does it (only screen printing and embroidering). The cheapest I’ve found online so far is about $18/shirt – I need about 30 of them.
Also, which brand of tee do you think is best? I’ve used Gildan Ultra Cotton in the past and they seem to fade/deteriorate within a year or so. I also have some Colorado Timberline “Poly Dri” shirts that have held up well – they’re a mesh shirt like Nike Dri Fit – only problem is they snag on velcro and rose bushes really easily. I don’t mind paying a bit more if I know it’s going to last longer.
Any and all suggestions are appreciated.
Thanks!

You have a great looking logo. I don’t know anything about image transference on to cloth, but I would suggest this: put the large image on the back and FRONT.

Your shirts look great! Now that the hot weather is coming those white shirts will be cooler. The only thing is that they are hard to clean. I don’t know what it is about window cleaning dirt, but it is impossible to clean!

The shirts pictured are actually a light grey – I like white, but yes, they’re too hard to keep clean. I’m planning on getting some navy and some lighter color (like grey). Here’s what the Navy proof looks like – obviously, I’d edit some of it and have some of the darker parts of the logo in white.
After some research – most companies are saying that you can only do DTG printing on light color shirts since it’s very difficult and expensive to print white this way. I may just end up going with screen printing for my workers shirts if it’s not comparible in price to screen printing (around $10-$15 per shirt).DTG t-shirt proof.doc (74 KB)
