Dispatch Board

Does anybody have a picture of your dispatch board that you would share? Something that hangs in your shop or office and shows your upcoming jobs. I am thinking about using a two month calendar from office depot unless someone has a better one. Thanks.

Steve
why not use wc software to keep track of your schedule. You can get it as cheep as $25 ( round tracker) $59(George the window cleaner) $179(Window Cleaner Pro). It is very easy to use and keeps great records. Also another one is The Customer Factor

Steve I keep most everything in the calender in my phone. It automatically gets synched (sp?) with Google Calander every few hours, so everything’s backed up. I can see everything on the desktop as well as the phone while I’m working.

I tried useing one of those big monthly calanders from Office Depot. It was nice to be able to see everything in writing, but it took a lot of work to keep it organized and up to date. As much as I liked it, I was spoiled by the Google Calander idea.

And Google is free.

You could also share Google Calendar with your employees.

Here is mine. You’ll have to download it to see it.

Yea I would agree with the software angle to… + I dont see any reason emplyees should know what there doing the next day… We used to have more call outs when they saw what they were doing the next or even who they were working with.

That’s a good point. We are using online software Service software, scheduling, dispatch, estimates and invoicing online but I was wanting something that I could hang in the office to see at a glance what the next few weeks looked like. Hadn’t thought about the tech calling off on hard jobs though.

I will post a pic of mine hopefully in the next day or so. I can’t seem to find my camera. I post the jobs but only by customer name, phone number and price. I arrange in order of the routes and leave the names off until morning when the guys come. The only time they know what they are doing is about five mins before I give them their work.

I use google calandar as well, but I also use a dry erase board from staples for stuff I dont want to forget.
