EDDM vs. Hand-delivered postcards

Mailed out or hand delivered can bring in a couple of leads and get you started . Consider sending out postcards and promotional pens.

Eh?

Is it just me or does victoria stiles sound like a sales person or even a robot who has short circuited?

HAHAA! Yes!

Well, let’s find out:

Hey Victoria! Ettore or Unger?

She sells post cards and promotional pens

I kind of figured but she should just come out and say it.

Great thread for this time of year. Had to bump it.

We are dropping 13k this week via mailer, and supplementing that by 7500 flyers in the same area to transition into our winter services.

On approx. September 19th we had 16,000 pieces mailed and are still getting calls here and
there regarding the mailer. I certainly was anticipating more calls, I didn’t confirm the numbers
yet but to this date I believe we are at 17-20 calls. Many of these I have closed.

I certainly did not hit 1% but have enough closed work to pay for the mailing, labor, taxes etc.
With a little left over for ME! Not sick and quick money but I am growing my client list too.
And many of these clients come back year after year.

Well, since you bumped the thread, here’s what this year taught me:

I don’t have time to hand-deliver postcards. My first campaign of the year started on March 1st. I hand-delivered for 2 whole days in a neighborhood where that is easy to do. Meanwhile the same flyer was being EDDM’d to a few nice routes. From March 3rd until today I haven’t had any time (or need) to hand-deliver since I’ve been booked solid. This year has been awesome!

Which card did you use?

Fall checklist. Which ones have you used or had success with Brian?

Some of the newer ones

I’ve never done a run that big. I would be a little disappointed but as long as you made $ it’s a success. I’ve never gotten near 1% My last run of 5k was a disaster it was the girl sticking her hand through the window. 1 Call 1 job

Seriously Brian?? The “Clear Away” winter window film one??

During the spring time that is one of my go-to cards for sure! I had good success 2 years
ago with it and did again this spring.

Yep and I love that card

From the guys I know out here who do postcards no one gets 1%

I think there are to many options I.e. lowballers

But I do ok with postcards
