Just wanted to say hello to all and show pictures of my first commercial job. It took me 3 days by myself inside and out. Stickers and paint overspray were a PITA but all and all it was an easy job. I’m sure i will get faster with more experience.
Welcome! You are in the right place if you are new to the window cleaning biz. Where’s the pics though?
Can’t seem to get my pictures to download.
welcome!
myrtle beach fl?
Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. Maybe the pics went through this time.
I cleaned windows for 5 years along the whole Grand Strand before I moved back to my home town to start my own company. I love it down there. My Mom lives in Calabash, NC just up the road.
Things sure have changed since I lived there. There’s a bypass to the bypass now.
Welcome! Nice job!
That’s an awesome start in commercial. Not only commercial, but a CCU. Are you mainly residential or are ya just starting out?
Just starting out. I have been pressure washing and wanted to add more services. I am willing to offer free labor to learn about WFP. Needs to be someone within reasonable driving distance.
Hey were you at JL’s pressure washing round table last year? There’s a ton of info on this site about WFP’s and pure water for cleaning windows. I’m not sure of anybody there in the area using WFP’s… have you seen any use?
That is a sweet job for your first commercial. Since your starting out, make sure you read up on fab debris also, especially for CCU.
a big bang to start in this biz…awesome!
What did you charge? Big job for one guy, well done!
Hey Micah. No I haven’t seen it used but was interested in how it could be utilized on some hotels and conference centers here. I know alot of windows are located on balconies and breeezeways but I have noticed alot that are just along flat walls and pretty high up. Do you use WFP?
Yeah I’ve been using a WFP for a few years now. It works great! There’s a few instances where it just can’t be used, like the CCU you just did, it won’t remove those stickers and overspray. But it’s a great tool to have. I bet there is some awesome hotels, condos, and residential jobs there on the ocean that would be great for the WFP. Not to mention all the golf clubhouses…
You could sign that building up for a quarterly cleaning and the WFP would make it a piece of cake to use.
Welcome…Nice job! I love Myrtle Beach…Thats where “the Dr.” wants to retire to in a few years. I will be down there in July at Pirateland.
