The Ettorlick.
1 - Use pipe cutter to cut head off - you should cut it a couple inches from the top. I had to recut it after this photo because the tip goes down into the pole pretty far and I couldn’t get it out.
2 - Pop off the Ettore stuff and attempt to pull out the spring clip from inside.
3 - Fit the tip on the pole while hitting it with a heat gun. Might want to wear at least one glove and just work it down. I was going to dremel it out but that seemed like a pain in the butt. The heat gun worked great and I didn’t lose any thickness on the tip.
4 - Stick it in the drill press 1/4" bit seemed to fit.
5 - As they say in the Ukranie: Viola.
Conclusion: I’m not sure the spring clips are needed because after heating it up and fitting the tip, it seemed really hard to get off. So I’m thinking maybe throw some glue on it and call it good. But stuck the spring clips in there just in case because I’m tired of my glue failing.
