Give it the Brush Test!

Well said Eric. You understand how this works. The key is the DuPont Nylon.

I’d have liked to seen a Tecbuk brush tested too,I’m currently using a Tecbuk hybrid and it’s a great little brush.

I still use my original Polyester dual trim and surprisingly their is very little difference in ā€˜feel’ on the glass compared to the Tucker. Definitely a fine brush.

I’m in a minority,I prefer softer brushes,I know the Tucker brush has an excellent reputation but I found it too stiff for me.

Bookmarked.

So…

It’s become my fav all over again since I fitted fans Julian…and it goes without saying that it pivots

How does it do on hydrophobic glass? Would love to see a video of that. Hydrophobic glass is one of the big issues for me with using the WFP more.

Actually it’s really deceptive. I’m using no more water than I would be with an 8 jet Constructor Brush. In fact I’d say less because one of my nightmare jobs has a run of 170 metres of Rhino hose and last week I was getting better pressure and flow than I was from my CB. The trick with the fan jets though is to keep the bristle on the glass while rinsing to control overspray.

Not perfect BUT much better Travis, especially with the pivot attached. To get better rinse depth you angle the brush close to vertical as you fan down the glass. The pressure controlled within the bristle on the glass helps as well.

So to be clear you walk the pole towards the building so the spray goes above the brush onto the glass acting much like a rinse bar?

Or the other way?with the jets point downward as much as possible?

I use it in the normal way. Brush on glass, agitate. Working across the top into either corner. The advantage of the pivot is it allows you to angle into the corners and ā€˜dig’. It also allows you to wipe along the top edge to negate dripping and then pivot/wash/rinse all the way to the bottom. If I need to remove stray debris from the glass after the first scrub then yes I raise the bottom of the brush slightly so that the jets have a downward push. I’m finding with the fan jets it doesn’t take much because of the pressure. Just really essential to control the overspray.

Got it. Thanks for the info. I really want to transition the WFP into everything I can this year.
