Glue on windows

I’ve only been doing this a couple years, but here is a new one for me. Found writing on the interior of residential windows. Figured it was one of those rubberized window decorations you can buy in a tube and use a template to create window decs. Then I went to work on the writing. Very hard. However, once it sat in water for a minute and I had it scraped off part way, it started to streak and stick. Tested some between my fingers. Yup. Elmers glue left to dry and bake on real good. Trying to clean the window was pointless; I had used my scaper, two squeegies and a window mop on the stuff. All now had glue on them. Had also rinsed by window mop in my mop bucket and let it hang in my bucket on a belt. Had to go down to the van and change/clean everything out. Paid learning. I love it!

Was this in a kids room? We had something similar on a house we did recently. Nasty stuff!

A hogs hair brush would probably work better than a washer sleeve.

Good call Larry!
