I need to know what kind of brush is good for cleaning the outside of the gutters. A brush that fits in the end of a pole. Thanks
We do a ton of Gutter Whitening and this is exactly what you want:

Hands down best brush for external gutter cleaning…
Once again,Thanks wcr
I buy these Unger Retail brushes at Home Depot:
Hey Larry, do they work fine ? Do you find them to be disposable or you can get several cleanings out of them ?
Is the flow-though one right ? I got a job on Wed. and no time to order, and the rest I’ve seen around are expensive and don’t look like they’ll deliver good results
It works fine, but does wear over time (bristles flatten out after several cleanings.) They’re only about $7-8 each – probably the same as any other inexpensive flocked flow-thru brush.
Carlos,
I use the same brush too. I usually keep it on the unger flow-thru pole that it came with. I use it mainly for pre-washing windows though. Sometimes, if the screens are rough, or the gutters have really bad stains, I’ll use it for those applications. Good brush for the most part. I did have one break on me during a cleaning once. I think that it was more of the pole breaking than the brush.
I am looking forward to trying one of the new fitted brushed (not sure of the name) that has the synthetic wool to clean gutters. I think that this shape and angle is perfect for gutter whitening.
