Would a high tds have an effect on the fabric awnings? Seriously wanting to add this service.
It would depend on what the TDS is. If you are using well water it could have iron in it and iron will turn the fabric rust color. but if you are using town water you should be ok. I would use a carbon filter to keep from bleaching the color.
Thanks Bill. The tds here in vegas is around .500 in most places. Wasn’t sure if when dry wether it would leave a residue behind. What would you recommend as a cheaper alternative to the awning cleaning chemicals that like say Winsol has.
My tds is 800-900 !! No problem but would work better with soft water… The chem would work better i think !! All you need is low pressure. Chem’s dewell and rince and rince . Then dry out and seal. Check out the seams befor you seal. Waiver on glass and awning. Use a pressure washer buy the cover !! There’s more to awning cleaning
