Hose Cart Anyone?

Curious to know if any of you guys use a garden hose cart or reel? I’m thinking of something like the one pictured below. Or do you all just manhandle your hose around? (pun intended)

I use a 5 gal. bucket. I cut a hole in the bottom side of the bucket for the female end of the hose. You can easily coil a 100ft of hose inside the bucket. I like the hose cart though.

The garden hose cart will certainly work for a while but it will fail sooner or later due to the fact that it’s not really a commercial grade tool. That money will then be down the drain.

If at all possible go ahead and spend the extra bucks for a professional grade hose reel and it will last you for the long haul. Money well spent.

Yes, I use a hose real and cart from Sams Club, holds 300 feet of garden hose, which is what I use. But am looking to switch to a Cox reel and mount it to my trailer. Makes things a whole lot easier.

Garden hose is hard to work with and heavy. PVC hose or silicon is much lighter. I use 1/4 or 3/8 diameter on a mounted reel. Works great and last longer than garden hose.

So you use 3/8 hose for your supply line to your system, John?

I hate those clean and organized vans
