How hot is to hot to work

@Bunkerboot83Was doing the 112 tejas heat last summer. Just as one gotta dress for the cold, ya gotta dress (or is that undress) for the heat…
With these hot panes (in the butt) tejas glass, i don’t use extra soap cuz it makes MORE suds that quickens the evap and makes more detaiing.
In the summer i use Winsol Super Slip as the additive of choice, i use it to keep the water on the glass from quick evap…

Also when yur cleaning in that type of heat in direct sunlight, especially black glass a
Vica versus works well

During the heat of summer I try to start my day when the son comes up. I try my best to do all my roof work( solar panels) and ladder work as early as possible. My goal is to start my last job of the day between noon and 1 pm. But I have had the days where I’m working in 110 + degree weather.

This is what im set for the week ahead lol get the gloves hat and scarf on lol

Maaaan working in 100 degree humidity weather is terrible… sweated so much.

It’s not sustainable to work in the afternoons.

Morning’s I can’t for now cause I’m tied up at a job.

Little job was a struggle to do with the sun beaming at me and it doesn’t help that I wear black.

Had to vent but jeez idk how some of u work 100+ degrees

Its frikkin brutal today. Got in my car at the shop, which was in the shade, and it said the outside temp was 100 degrees.

I’ve worked in 117. No fun.

low 100’s eh, just make sure there’s enough cold water etc, but difficult if a first wave of heat after comfortable temps, takes a week to fully acclimate if sustained heatwave

105 - low 110’s you’re draggin, things are taking longer. and you’re just burning thru the water. hopefully some shady sides or not in full sun and some interiors with some a/c on (yes, on, cause some don’t and you wish you were outside instead!)

mid 115’s plus, even in shade with endless cold water depending on your exertion (ladders, 3 story wpole or just low key ground work) will make the difference. Humidity will also be a factor. even if it’s low humidity and high heat, your lungs burn from the hot air and you can just tell it’s a whole other level at 115 plus, we’ll usually just pack it up if its all outside at those temps
