Depends on your market area. In my area it is saturated with store front window cleaners, and the ones they don’t already clean don’t hire window cleaners. Residential also has a large cleaner base but is far more likely to hire than store front. Kind of like the lawn care crowd - on any given street is at least a half dozen different lawn care services. I grab store front when I can but they are absolutely not my target or bread and butter. So, some markets it seems have a few window cleaners that tear up the store front market, other window cleaners don’t share in the booty. Don’t fret it L, just grab your market and run with it.

Okay. Feeling better. True story: have met a Lady, she’s been in biz 20 years! SHE does the million dollar homes I’m looking for. She’s in her 70’s! …but, I met her ladder guy…he’s been with her 15 years! I asked if she has WFP? Nope! Hmmm. Yet I’m still finding nice resi to do. Carrying on. Thanks Garry. WFP is a tool like any other. I have found that it makes some jobs easier and therefore faster without ladder placement and stomping on Mrs. Betty’s flower garden. But, it is entirely possible to clean those same windows traditional. With the designs of homes and roof pitches, if the windows chosen to build with do not tip inward than those can be dangerous to clean. There is a charge for that. Yesterday I used WFP on a 2 story for just 3 of the windows; they were tall windows, 2nd floor of a tin roof. I might have been able to walk the roof with trad pole, but still feeling the affects of being so sick I busted out the Tucker and knocked it out quickly and safely.
Nice job, sold it as a quarterly ($380 above what she said she last paid), and went home to bed rest.
