How to get to the right person

I’m new and for 6 weeks I’ve been working as a sole proprietor and only have mom and pop shops on my list. I now have incorporated (as LLC) and wish to get bigger jobs, multi-location and corporate run companies. Many have regions or districts that are small enough that I could handle them all myself. I’ve been turned away by banks, daycares, and larger stores because I was not legit. Now that I am, what is the best way to contact the person in charge? How do I get their contact info? Who do I ask and how? Google doesn’t help. Walgreens gave me the district manager number for their 13 stores in my district, but many GM’s don’t know at some places. I also wish to contact the owner or person in charge of entire plaza’s, but don’t know how to contact them. I can’t afford advertising yet, so I’m going face to face and making calls/sending emails, everything is direct until I make more money.

You answered it.

Also, don’t look down on “in person” advertising. You are legit even if you aren’t sending out mailers.

You have many commodities at your disposal - time, energy, money. Spend what you have, which is time and energy. Humans are chemical creatures. There is a reaction every time you are face to face with someone. People are more willing to help out a human being more than a postcard. Find those people who are willing to give you the contact info for the decision maker and dont sweat the ones who don’t.

Many plazas are owned by landlords or investment groups, but they are managed by a property management company. The PM co is who you need to get a hold of. Sometimes you can get this information from a shop owner.
Or, you can do an internet search. Find out the name of the plaza and search the name in combination with ‘Property Manager’ ‘Property Management Co’ ‘Lease’ ‘Rental’. You could call the Chamber of Commerce and see if they can help.

Regional stores:
Internet search the name with ‘corporate’ ‘Corporate Office’ ‘Investor’ ‘Investment’ you should get a phone number you can call. Tell them what you need and ask if they can point you in the right direction. Bit of a caution though, some companies don’t have the same corporate name.
Nothing ventured nothing gained.

But, than again, maybe I don’t know what the heck I’m talking about.:kissing:

Or find a empty store in the plaza and call the number in the window lol
