How to Make a Quick Release Locking Pole Tip

Quick-LoQ Check it out.

Man oh Man , you need to start a manufacturing company Dude, your one sharp Dude H-Man…

Your Bud / Dange

Have had some people saying that where the pop rivet goes in the hole. </SPAN>

It breaks.</SPAN>

Just make sure that the hole is slightly smaller then the rivet.</SPAN>

It will sit in tightly.</SPAN>

If there are any questions please ask.</SPAN>

Also depends on the type of plastic.

Yes Karl your right.</SPAN>

The plastic that was used is polypropylene about 4mm thick very durable and been no problems as yet after three months. </SPAN>

If any body has tried this and used another plastic that is as durable please let us know.</SPAN>

Been using polypropylene all the time never thought to use any thing else on the modifications.</SPAN>

Will check some other plastics, to find out if it works just as good.</SPAN>

Or, as i mentioned on another forum - Unger do sell these clips separately.

Karl,
Not seeing them where are they listed?
And or name of clip.

isn’t that the same as this that you can buy from ********** for less that $5 Pole Tip Green Snap in Unger?

HA! WCR blocked out the name of the supplier that starts with a R! funny

Believe Karl was talking about Unger</SPAN> ErgoTec Locking Cone?

So is that one you can get a clip as a spare part, in case the other breaks?

</SPAN>

</SPAN></SPAN>

Both Unger & Ettore have spares of the spring clips that go in the cones. Your favorite supplier will be able to source them, they rarely list them because at 50 cents (or less) a throw they take up valuable internet/magazine space.
