I have a janitorial company called “Extra Clean Services, LLC”.
I think it is important as I expand into window cleaning that I have a new business or a DBA that explains that I clean windows.
I’ve tried “Positive Outlook Window Cleaning”
“Open Eyes Window Cleaning”
“Titan Window Cleaning” etc…
Nothing seems to click just yet.
Does anyone have a juicy business name that noone else is using that you wish you’d’ve used from the beginning? I know that is a lot to ask. But even some ideas will be helpfull.
I don’t want to include my first or last name. That is just not my style.
That’s good for a start. If I lived in a city I might jump on it. But I am in cattle country where the men are men and that name has too much corny in it. I mean that kindly. I do think it’s good. Just not for my location.

Why not just adjust what you alreeady have - Extra Clean Windows and Services or Extra Clean Windows+

I’ve found the number of syllables in the first word or two to be important. It doesn’t need to be so short as “Fish Window Cleaning” but I like the short concept.
I don’t want to boast in my name. For example: “I am the best window cleaner in town etc, etc, blah blah blah.” Every one claims that. I want to be that without it being in my name. Like "Best Window Cleaning, or “All Pro Window Cleaning”. Again, that is not the image I want to portray.
How about something that is about the state where you are. I saw that you chose a bird meadowlark right? Thats your state bird. Not bad. Just tweaking the original name of your company is a great idea, because it could add more recognition and $$ to your existing business and vice-versa. Easy transition too.
What ever name you choose don’t go with [B]Clear View Window Washing[/B]. It is perhaps the most widely used name in our industry. There are at least 6 in my State alone, 3 in my market area. People are always asking me if I am one of the other guys. Go ahead and google Clear View Window.

The whole time I really wanted a simple, locally recognized name. I completely dismissed the idea of “Big Sky Window Cleaning” because for sure it would be taken right? Nope! In my small population state, there is a “Big Sky Window Washing” but I don’t wash windows. I clean them.
I called the Secretary of State and behold “Big Sky Window Cleaning” was not registered. So I registered it. It’s mine! Very cool.

I hope that works out for you. My lawn and landscape company was called Brocks Lawnscape. Well everything was good in till some guy name his Brocks Landscape. He charged up accounts at a couple nurseries and never paid. I’m talking like $30,000 to $50,000. He also screwed over all of his customers. People seen me riding down the rode and they would pull me over or call the police while I was working on other jobs. All kind of crazy stuff happened. It had a big effect on my business for a really long time.
Gotcha. Bummer. There is only so much that you could do to prevent that from happening. The first thing I suppose, at least in my case, was to ensure that there was not a business with the same name in my state and then register under a unique name. The Sec State decided that “Cleaning” was different enough from “Washing”.
