Thanks. What if I have two separate sites, unlinked, but similar content? Similar content would be contact info, services, etc. It wouldn’t be copy and paste, but visitors could tell it was both the same company.

John as said above and I agree… What I would do is leave your existing site alone, don’t touch it… Just build a fresh new one with new content.
Why not have the #1 and #2 spot
