I'm sorry... I can no longer keep this a secret

At the beginning of the year Eric mettlermaintenance told me about the 5.11 Tactical Taclite ProPant. I have to say this is the best $50 I have ever spent on work pants!! These pants offer outstanding comfort in hot or humid conditions and are extremely durable. I walk in and out of bushes, landscaping, etc. with no worries. I used to wear blue jeans, but they would only last about 2 months. I didn’t want to recommend these pants to anyone on here until I gave them a good 6 months of abuse. After 6 months, they still look new!

Thanks again Eric!

Those look nice. I have a pair of nylon pants that zip off to create shorts that work pretty good. though the stitching has come loose in a couple of places after 6 months. It’s hard to find work clothes that are lightweight & durable.

BTW, I also got the frogs toggs chili pad that you recommended.

No more secrets Chad

no worries! This forum is all about sharing what works! Pay it forward

I bought the tan pants. I wouldn’t try bleaching them.

So you dont pressure wash in them? It is the same poly/cotton blend as dickies so I would imagine it holds up to bleach about the same as dickies do

Have been rockin these for awhile now, and I want to say I caught word of them on here as well, just not quite sure from who!

I love them and they are holding up a lot better than I thought they would. They’re very light and I was concerned about holes in the knees and such, but no signs of wearing. These things are great. I believe they are going about 6 months strong now as well, and I’m tough on my gear.
