I agree completely Dwight! How dumb to think that there are evil people in the world who want to control others for their own purposes. After all, Obama eats rainbows and poops butterflies, why should anyone suspect otherwise.

I know it’s the anything BUT window cleaning area. Perhaps I am not comfortable airing my politcal views here. Here goes. For example, many people think our politicians are idiots. I don’t. I think they are brilliant and know exactly what they are doing. To quote Abe Lincoln “You can fool some of the people all of the time and all of the people some of the time but you can’t fool all of the people all of the time.” I think they have almost all of us fooled. What do you think?
Conditioning the people to accept a new way of life takes a long time. Our conditioning has been going on for a very long time now. Before a new ideology will be accepted, the people must be brought down to a state of mind where they will need and accept it. The old values that keep the people strong and independent must be broken and eliminated.
That is how serious change happens.
This should interest window cleaners more than the “average” person becasue most of us are entrepreneurs. As such we value freedom and cherish the country and way of life that allows us to pursue our dreams. When anything threatens that we need to know. That’s why this is here.
I guess that’s one reason so many window cleaners are spiritually conservative? There seem to be a lot of spiritually minded people among us.

I guess I said spiritually conservative because I didn’t want to say Christian because some Bible believing people do not call themselves Christian.
I guess I could have said Bible believers, followers of Jesus Christ, or people of faith if I had given it more thought.

I call myself a Bible-Believer. Not that I reject the name Christian, but there are many who claim the name Christian that aren’t Bible-believers, people that don’t believe or accept justification by faith, the deity of Jesus Christ, or the Blood atonement all of which is taught in the Bible.Some believe that being born into America, or a good family makes them a christian.
I’m not trying to start anything,or attack anyone, but I probably just did, but it was not intentional.
As far as the verse in Acts that you mentioned, it wasn’t the disciples who called themselves Christians, it was other people. It is kind of ironic you mentioned that verse, because that is one of the verses that I am preaching on this Sunday.
