Large sticker film

I’m looking at a job at a local video store that just pulled off a poster sized vinyl type sticker that left that clear looking adhesive stuff behind. I think I can impress them and get the job if I can get it off for them. Obviously I am new to this and need to know what to use.

Razor blade and Magic Eraser. Make sure you wet the glass first. Test an area to make sure you don’t scratch anything.

As mentioned a razor will generally do the trick. However make sure to test as suggested before doing any larger part of the window. I will usually do a test in a corner. If it does scratch Goo Gone will also take this stuff off.

A razor and perhaps goo gone or Oil-Flo should do the trick. Any time you’re going to use a razor make sure to get a waiver signed. Testing is a dangerous way to go as you can never guarantee that the glass will or won’t scratch.

I used Safe restore with great results/ I did find that if you use this product, put it on, let it sit for a few minutes (do not let it dry) then clean window as normal, but you will get glue all over your strip washer and you will have to throw it out or use it only for safe restore projects later. I believe I had to clean window twice after Safe restore, make sure you you don’t mix safe restore water with your clean window cleaning water. I will also add that there was no scraping needed.
