Mike your getting the same results from your modified channel and the Liquidator channel. If your getting the same benefit from the modified channel, why buy the Liquidator is my question in general.

I had to try it out for myself, my 14" and 12" modified channels work amazing.
My 16" modified channel was the issue so I was going to get the 18" liquidator anyway since I was getting perfect results with the larger channel

I used to use 24" and 30" channels all day long in the name of efficiency doing storefronts and thought these old-timers who cut down to just a few sizes (maybe 20" and under) were just silly. But the last year of two I’ve found myself doing just that, using a 20" or 16" for 95+% of all my storefront work. I do think sometimes how I could save a stroke on panels between 60" and 72" wide by going back to my 24", but I’m okay working on other time-saving techniques and having to maintain a good stock of fewer rubber sizes.
That said, when I do get a Liquidator, it will be an 18" and I will try my hand out once again with an orbital handle. Perhaps it will be an epiphany for me.
I’m the same way with route, 22" Vader on a ninja handle, another 22" Vader on a swivel ledger, and a 16" stainless steel Ettore channel (cut and dog eared) and of course a small ledge/sill squeegee.
Of course I have other equipment, but keeping it simple has made me more efficient, I haver the proper tool (for my techniques) for every job though and know exactly when each one will be needed.
