A little!! I now what u mean though first time I used them I ripped a huge gash in one of them. I was thinking of replacing with hose. But I could foresee it wasn’t going to last. Nah I am mastering the v top I rarely need them.

Dangerous dave posted a cool hack video for those pads wearing out. heat up some one inch vinyl hose in boiling water, then slide them over the stand-off until they are in the same position as the original pads. looks like that will last long time.
The open rung stand offs are great for gutter cleaning - light and set at the proper angle. Plus, you can use them on regular extension ladders as well. I like to use them with my 16’. I prefer using a ladder-max for my 24’ & 32’ for added security (real or imagined :))
I do not think sectionals are as good a choice for gutter cleaning as a Little Giant style ladder because you really do need a more precise height adjustment for gutters than windows if the standoff is going to be placed on the roof above the gutter. Twenty six feet is going to be very heavy.
I don’t do gutter cleaning but I would think extension ladders would be best .
Window cleaning. Sectionals
Chandelier cleaning. LG
Gutter cleaning. Extension

I would agree with mike but if u can only have one ladder because of space or money. The most versitial ladder I believe would be sectionals. Because yah u can make a little extra in a job with chandlers but u can make a whole lot with windows and gutters.

Thanks for the replies. My issue right now is space, I only have a Jeep Grand Cherokee. It’s a lease and I have to go through next year with it, unless I can get out of it somehow. With that being said, I want to do gutters and windows… Does anyone have an suv like me with ladder racks?

If you put a ladder rack on a lease, you might as well buy it. Oh, and don’t use the luggage rack for ladders. Luggage racks are only rated for like 25-50lbs and that ladder will probably rip it right off if you hit a good bump.
For the money and for the space, just get a werner. I’d suck it up until you can get a get a work vehicle with ladder rack. Once you get a ladder rack, I’m with Mike, extensions for gutters and sell the werner.
