I just ordered and received ORIGINAL Ecover ( enough for 3 years plus ) off eBay
It’s a little more expensive but still worth it,
Tips:
Just type in ECOVER in eBay search and yes… Yer gonna haveta scroll
AND
MAKE sure to ask seller if the picture is what will be received ( non glycerine)
Some sellers are useing the old stock photo with the new ecover…
Get it while gettings good!!!

Yes. For me, in specific circumstances related to my area, on specific jobs during certain times of the day and especially the winter, summer as well, the new Ecover suuuucked about 2 out of 5 times. But that’s just me.

Haze. Almost like there was too much soap. I went back to dawn and no problems in the same ratios.

I am a NO GLYCINE GUY
No dawn
It has to do with the residue left on the windows.
Years ago I took a test swabs of just done windows to a lab to test to see what residue was left from squeege ring.
To make a long story short
( and this is a long story )
ALL squeegeed windows leave residue.
I have found that the glycerine residue does not attract dust particles, but it does not let dust particles Bounce off the glass in wind.
I.e. They collect dust faster Makeing my windows dirty faster.
That’s why I am not a glycerine guy
Some window cleaners want to go back and clean customers dirty windows.
I like to go back and keep my customers windows clean
So no glycerine for me.
It’s also easy to smear and adds to my detail work.
This is it in a nutshell for me .
If youse really want I can try to dig out lab tests I did years ago.
and controls I did if I can find them.
Not saying glycerine is bad.
It’s just bad for me and my style of perfection

Although we use no method that make windows dirtier, faster, I do enjoy repeat clients.

Used Dawn for 3 year with no problems. To each his own though.

I in no way meant to insinuate anything with my glycerine dislike.
I was just trying to get the gist of a looong story out in a short time.
I was in Hays County at a burger joint set up to receive donations from the flood tapping that out.
My company donated funds to the flood cause.
It was while here that I realized just how insignificant glycerine is when compared to death and life struggles

I think what he is trying to say is. With route customers there scheduled already to go each month on weekly, bi-weekly, or 1x a month so it’s easier if they are cleaner rather then dirtier.

I would have to say yes/no. I mean if its weekly how much dirt is it that makes a difference in how hard it is to clean same for bi-weekly.

Resi like you say . Now that I think about it switch to dawn. I want them calling me back sooner then later.

I haven’t seen much difference. Suds more and leaves streaks but nothing worth fussing about for me.

Worth fussing about for me, especially for resi. I’m pretty sick of the new ecover
