Am I the only one losing accounts due to the economy? Its sucks!
Nope… We are to. Fortunately were picking more back up due to new openings… So its not that bad but its an administrative headache.
ive lost a few accounts int he past 2 weeks but ive gain new and better paying ones…
i was told once that if i loose an account i should get 3 to replace that one that ive lost… then he asked me why 3?? then he said cause one of the 3 i will have about 25% chance that i will keep it, and the 2nd one i have about 50% chance of keep that one and for the 3rd i have a really really good chance of keeping that one…
so then he told me do this and i know you will be successful in your business
We have not lost any accounts but our residential W/C is down 40%. For some reason though power washing and commercial window cleaning has skyrocketed for me which has more than compensated for the loss. Go figure.
I got hit pretty good at the end of last year. But the month of April and May have been crazy. The phone is ringing off the hook and I’m working on landing 2 more car dealerships. So there is some light at the end of the tunnel. Hang in there.
I’m picking up a booty load of commercial work…
I’ve been trying some new methods that work. Not cold calling and selling much any more… this new approach has been working great in this economy.
I have only lost a couple of jobs. Haven’t really noticed because of all the residential I am doing.
Care to share?
Ive lost a car dealership and real estate company and a couple residential…but getting a lot of calls for estimates …and I’m still raising prices…with no resistance yet…
nope
well…
…maybe I’ll jump on the making an ebook train and sell it jk…dunno
I havent lost anything yet in commercial work, but residential customers are holding off, the phone is still ringing for res., but commercial work is still booming here in S.D.
I’ve had one of my accounts cut back to once a month from twice a month.
Residential has my phone ringing off the hook with no PC mailings yet.
Commercial has incresed by 50% for me this year.
My best investment over the winter was time spent optimizing my free website. It has given me much this season.
Not due to the economy, but the weather. Not really losing accounts but they keep postponing. Then a couple weeks ago the weather here finally broke and cleared up, and I got real busy, and now we have T-storms all week!
I must be the only one
I’ll buy your commercial stuff
When i went to your website, it felt like i was in a night club…LOL
I know I need to change that.
