Low E defect

Has anyone seen this problem before in Low E? It is on side 2 of Weather Shield casement windows about 3 years old. This lady is one of my regular customers and I have cleaned these windows 3 times before and this was not on the window. It is only on 2 windows both facing southeast. The picture was with my phone so I hope it is clear. Looks like the Low E is peeling or corroding.

The lady should have the manufacturer of the windows replace them while they are still under warranty.

One of my customers is doing that because several of his Low E windows have the fish eye defect.

We get a ton of those in New Mexico.

Have you seen the window reps come out to inspect window defects. They measure out fifteen feet from the window look at it and if they see something they replace it.

I’ve cleaned 2 houses recently that had low-e issues. One was on a huge picture window on the back of the house. It had as you describe John a peeling effect. I had to get my wife inside while I was on the outside to show him it was in between the panes. He said he had never seen it before and it is slightly below eye level. The windows were out of warranty so they could replace it or live w/ it.
The other house had 2 issues the first was on a set of sliding casement windows in a walk out basement and was the dreaded fish eye. Of course this is not really a low-e defect as much as an FD issue. The second was the peeling effect again at the top of the window over the sink in the kitchen. I made sure to point these out to her but she said she could live w/ it.
