Simply put they really work. The very best are very thin dual polymer split microfiber. They are based on polyester and polyamide. If you want absorbent they are totally unbelievable. I used mine all day today on my route to detail around decals and vinyl letters on doors. I wrote a small article in my blog with a real interesting picture.
