So I’m lazy in the past 4 years, what are the ups of the 4 edged rubber. Outside of you BOAB wearing away a spot one one side of your rubber. How is the rubber?

Glen, Sorbo Channels and Rubbers work just fine. So do Slayers and Ettore rubber that goes in them. I am getting really tired of all the Sorbo bashing. He is a quirky and eccentric fella for sure. You will find if you use his rubber that is cut to size already and not on the 50’ roll, even a clown from Mo can use it effectively.

Had it not been for their automatic time out feature, I had a response to one of the earlier questions, that included your past deals, good and bad. You made a foolish choice for your loss of rubber sales, if that is you. Although you have no idea what I’m talking about as my researched article timed out.
“To my knowledge Sorbo are storefront products and were designed as such”- Not according to your videos, and yes your silicone rubber is only for regular store front maintenance. Your silicone rubber is still leaving a residue, that on commercial can’t be picked up, well, at least for a while. After 5 to 7 years give me a call, window cleaners, and I’ll tell you what to do to take the water spots off.

Bless you, not exact copies. I have been in the supply rooms of almost all of the suppliers, the quick silvers are missing the groove. I wrote a 3 hr explanation of sorbos past, it timed out. This sucks as it was good window cleaning history. He started his work with Ettore. I’m done for now, I don’t want to be cut off.

Sometimes the server will time out if it’s a really long post… It’s kinda rare but sorta depends on how busy the server is - was at that moment.
You should re type it out… It’s good window cleaning history. I’ve read all about it in back issues of AWC.

Most of my story’s come from the narratives of people that I met in the industry, through out the country, I was never that in to the magazine (maybe a year or two). Soren has a good history, an American history for sure. I am not a fan of how he is ending it. As I said, I wrote a long post on this, and how he could have made more money just by letting all the rubber makers make their version of his rubber for a percentage. He kept on with the channels as the answer to his well being. Everyone has their opinions…

15+ years and the same piece of garbage experience over and over? this is not a user issue over 15 years, many belt setups, etc later.
one thing HAS BEEN consistent: it’s garbage length of useful time before water lines appear, THAT has been consistent within hours, over 15 years of intermittent use.
Amazing this is still bought and on the market IMHO.
So silicone is the problem, commercial, storefront, whatever, nicks within hours (not from my belt or holsters, or at least never a problem from Ettore Soren rubber in the Sorbo channels) is unacceptable, and 15 years of consistency with this in my experience and several different employees experiences over the same 15 years is not coinky-dink.
Am I irritated? Sure, cause I got a mis-shipment and have been dealing with this garbage for the last 2 months along with my employees who are also complaining ad nauseum.
