Just got a call from another commercial account that their closing up shop. This economy thing is starting to hit here pretty good. I’ve probably lost half of what I had last year maybe more. Need to start focusing more on residential accounts.

sorry to hear your pain.
this economy does stink, however if you’re continuing to put leads in the sales funnel there shouldn’t be a reason for you to be struggling with you commercial route. I may lose 1 account a week on average but I’m closing 4 a week. I’m constantly filling the funnel. I’ve got note pads of people I’m working on and at some point I’ll get them all! 
We have lost several commercial accounts the last 6 months due to going out of business.Other accounts are cutting way back going from every 2 weeks to once a month or just quarterly.

I know the area you are in. Try checking with the regimes on Hilton Head and get some of their condos. Also residential on the plantation and Dataw Island and Fripp
I feel your pain. Since Jan I lost 3 big accounts. It sucks
Commercial does seem to be taking a hit with most. Residential is amazing for me this year.
Hope residential starts picking up.
