New Business Owner looking for window cleaning equipment

Hi everyone, I have 5 windows at my store and each window is 8’ Ft Height and 5’ ft 4" inch Wide. While looking for window cleaning equipment, I stumble upon this great forum.
Do you suggest I use a step ladder because it’s basic cleaning or if I want to go fancy, use a pole?

Here are some equipment I plan to buy for cleaning windows myself. I am open to suggestions, critiques or criticisms.:eek:

I would recommend 2 options…either buy one of the starter kits thats wcr offers or go to the wcra members map and find your local cleaner. Your time as a business owner is much better spent not cleaning your windows, but focusing on marketing and promoting your business.

You’ve spent considerable time researching what you’d need to clean five windows. As Josh said, you could use that time and the time it’ll take you to clean them yourself and the money you may spend on equipment and just let a window cleaner take care of it for you!

Spending the money on a professional to clean your windows correctly is far less expensive than DIYing or worse yet, trying to train employees to take pride and do it correctly.

Had dinner at a Habachi restaurant last night, getting out of the car see two guys cleaning glass, as we are walking up notice that one guy is kind of showing the other guy how to do it, but also notice that they look like they just walked out of the kitchen with their black chef aprons on.

Lets just say a L@wes faux backflip shower squeegee combo, electrical tape to hold it on to an Ettore pole, and black table napkins do not make a window cleaner, but the one guy did a great job on our meal though.

I like to look at the cool swirls and streaks and lint left on the glass from a cheep business owner who thinks Windex and Bounty were made to clean windows. Seriously, spend your time making your customers happy and let a professional clean the glass.

Well I don’t know how much window cleaning will cost me every month or every week? I want to focus on my business but times are slow at the moment which prompted me to look into DIY window cleaning.
