New pressure washer

i was looking at that one too,

Let me know how it works for you…

If a Whisper Wash Classic is in the budget I promise you won’t regret it. Remember, a swivel assembly is around $350 and the Northerns and Whirlaways are not terribly durable. The WW swivel is very beefy and the new ones come with an easily replaceable cartridge for a lot less.

Amen. I love my classic. Even with a surface cleaner you will have to go slow at 4gpms. DON’T get one any bigger than 19" the rule of thumb is 4" per 1 gpm. I have a 4000@ 4 and like it but I don’t go fast on concrete. Do yourself a huge favor and call Bob At Pressure Tek he is great and won’t steer you wrong.

Trevor,

I’ll let you know. We were supposed to use it on a job today but the weather, even here in east Texas, was a little too cold and wet. Rescheduled for next week.

I’ll try and take some before and after pics for you.

Thad,

A little late for me now since I already bought the Northern, but what is the swivel assembly you are referring too. Man, I hate when I show my ignorance, but it comes up time and time again. This is our first surface cleaner so I want to make sure, I have my terminology down straight.

Also, I don’t know if it matters in the quality, but the cleaner I posted above is sold by Northern but is another brand, General Pump. I was drawn to it by the fact that is has a greasable bearing instead of being sealed. That, and the fact that it was on sale. I’m a sucker for a sale. Just wondering if you had any experience with them.

Laissez les bons temps rouler,

It’s the cylinder where the hose goes into the top of the surface cleaner. Also called a rotary union.

We’re going to! You gonna make it?

Hoping to. Budget’s a little tight right now. Going to sit down this weekend and crunch some numbers. I also noticed it’s on Easter weekend which may make it tough with the family.
