Oh crap, I’m having a hell of a time figuring out pricing
The struggle is real
I started my business last year and it has worked for what I want to get out of it.
Yes it takes some time- I missed the spring rush, summer was sloooww- I was thinking of crazy things to make money- then fall picked up and I was burnt out.
If you don’t like to be a salesman then don’t- just be genuine and manage expectations.
Whenever I went out walking putting out door hangers, the phone would ring. After doing a good job- normally the phone rings again (referral).
Go into businesses and introduce yourself- don’t sell yourself. They may want a window cleaner, they may have one, they may be your new favourite place to eat/shop. They may have a guy- but that guy may not do resi.
Short term rentals and realtors are great too
You started at the worst case scenario (meaning if it doesn’t work out you just go back to working for someone else)
