Newbie

We are a family owned and operated business. Providing, Painting, deck refinishing and pressure washing. Funny as it seems, one very important item for us is cleaning windows. The job isn’t done till everything shines. We hope to share ideas and network with folks who know the score. We are always looking to do the right thing. We are looking forward to becoming the best at window washing in our area, as we are in our other ventures. Thank you.

Welcome. Have a look around and if you gave questions. please ask. There is a lot of info here

Welcome to the community.

It seems power washing and window cleaning are moving ever closer to merging. More and more wc companies are offeriing pw and vice versa. Customers are asking more and more for bids for both. I think it would be a good idea for both industries to help each other. Probably avoid a lot of pitfalls that way.

Welcome to the group! Looking forward to learning and sharing.

Welcome.

Hi Terry - ooh a paint expert, great stuff & welcome.

Welcome to the group. I have a question I have been dieing to ask a painter. I figure since you are offering the window cleaning service as part of your business you take care when painting a home. But is it common place for most painters to paint windows? I’m just wondering cause it seems like every home I go to that has been freshly painted, either inside or outside, the windows have a ton of over spray on them. Also how do you go about removing the paint from the windows of homes you paint? Or do you?

great ? jug

I Been doing windows for 8 years now, and even i learned a few things off here. Look over the site…im sure you will find everything you need to know. Good Luck!

Welcome aboard, this site is the best for sharing ideas. This site should answer any window cleaning questions you might have, WCR is a great tool for our WC’s

Welcome!

Painting, power washing & wcing can all go hand in hand pretty well. Just don’t power wash windows. I have noticed a couple pw’ers companies here in Dallas that decided expand their services by cleaning windows using a power washer.

Hmmmm… I bet that doesn’t go over for too long.

Hey, Terry!

Guys, Terry runs a very profitable painting business and does a lot of powerwashing as well. He is an original UAMCC Transition Team member and has been a force to be reckoned with when it comes to contractor education.

I stand behind anything Terry says about running a service business (until it bites me in the @$$ and then I’ll say Peggy is the real brains behind the outfit).
I got to hang out with Terry and Peggy at the New Orleans Contractor Networking Event last year (St. Louis Cathedral, beignets at Cafe Du Monde, etc.) and can say that they are Class A all the way.
