my shepherd and malinois are good my mal is still a pup he’ll get goofy but doesn’t take long to get back
training solves most dog issues sometimes theyre just stupid tho

Because most people don’t have squirrels in their houses.
Because they are an animal to house and not a pet family member. All of my dogs that I have had over the years held a place in the family and got to enjoy life as a member not a possession. For this, I believe, is the difference. Socialized, at least basic training, if not advanced training makes for a well adjusted pet. No one in their right mind would not teach, train, and educate their child - but too many put an animal behind a closed door and say “Look, ain’t he/she cute”.
My previous dog had only very basic obedience, got to go calmly on leash where ever dogs are allowed and always stayed within short distance off leash. My present dog has a little more obedience but not advanced and has learned to be content with staying near by and not leave his yard. Too many people can’t be bothered to do that.
Doesn’t make it the WINDOW CLEANERS FAULT that the dog ran away.

Exactly. This whole week we’ve had a contractor putting in new windows and siding on our house and the dog has been going in and out of the house with him. She just lays in the yard or on the porch and watches him work and occasionally he throws a stick for her. She doesn’t run off or constantly bark at him because she is well behaved and trained. I told him whenever he leaves just don’t worry about the dog, she will stay around, and we are not miles out in the country either, I live in a neighborhood in the city and have no fences.

It is very doable. My GSD stays within eye sight of me when I mow the grass or pull groceries form the vehicle through the open door to the house. Even if I forget to close the door sometimes, he just pops out to pee and comes back in.
Although, there was one day I was rushing around trying get ready for work and could not find Schultz. Come to find out he was waiting in the van to go to work with me. LOL

very cool. i have a red n black gsd and a malinois super smart and funny. come in the house they’re not gonna like you but out in town you’re fine as long as you dont come at the family.
