Pella Interior Glass Insert removal

Whats your favorite tool for removing these types of clips?

So far we have had good results with mini needle noose pliers, any better options?

Paint can opener. It’s not just for screens, it’s an indestructible fingernail. Oh and when the gasket won’t release, the opener can gently pry the glass apart.

Besides a paint can opener a putty knife helps. (Might need to use a thin one though)

I carry that darn thing all day, and I never thought about using it for this purpose.
Thanks Jared I’ll give it a try.

Normally I/we dont have any issues really, but this job and 3 more jobs on the schedule the prior “window cleaners” tweaked and forced many many clips in, even splitting the wood at many spots. So we have to use a little more force to open/remove the tabs.

You get all of the easy ones.

5 in 1’s are also great for holding an Old broke lead weighted window up when it wants to come crashing down.
