Here’s a few pics of my trailer rig.
Well, I thought there were going to be some pics. I used photo bucket and copied the “direct links” and pasted them in the insert image block and clicked “ok”. But no dice. I really hate computers!!!
Well, I put one of the pics in my avatar. You can click on it and view my picture album which has two more of the pics. What a F—n ordeal. I give up. LOL!!!
Let’s see if this helps…
Hopefully I did that right.
nice very nice!
Nice.
eyecatching set-up !
Dormatex, You da Man!!! Thanks for correcting the links. I don’t know what I did wrong or if my slow azz 'puter just ain’t gonna do it right no matter what I do.
And thanks to the rest of you for the “nice” compliments!
Awesome set up man! You went with the stackable cox reels…only seen them in the cataloges, they look really good, and it looks like you got alot of hose on there too. Did you have that steel custom made for your tanks too? I use the exact same tanks. Nice job. Looks really organized too, clean.
Thanks Tory! The stack bracket, Cox Reels, 300’ of yellow hose, and fittings for each came from Shawn at Reach Higher Ground. Shawn is TOP NOTCH!!!
The elevated rack for my buffer tank was actually at one time a hitch mounted rack that I used to haul a portable power washer on behind my truck. A friend that does metal work cut it it half with a torch and welded two legs on one end of it. I bolted the other end onto the side rail of the trailer. It works like a charm. I don’t ride with water in the tank though…that’s too much unnecessary weight.
The outlet hose from the water supply reel has a splitter with valves so I can direct the water supply to either the D.I. tank or to the power washing rig with the turn of a small valve.
At first I only had my power washing rig on the trailer but decided to go ahead and put my WFP/pure water rig and ladders on it too. I really like having it all on the trailer because it’s so easy to access everything. And you can just disconnect it and your vehicle is unloaded. This rig is kept in an enclosed garage and locked where the equipment will stay safe and dry when not in use.
Sweet looking rig there bud!
I cool to see how different people come up with solutions to challenges.
I bought a heavy duty, fully galvanized, single Axel trailer with auto reverse breaks on it because I purified my water at home. I can carry up to 1000l on board which is more then enough for a full days work. Normally I only have 300l on board. If my tank is empty I can have my pump, battery, real and tank off in about 5min so I can use the trailer for other things.
Trailers are so handy because you drop them off and your vehicle is ready for something else. This was a previous version. The trailer has gotten smaller and lower. I also have a rack on top where my poles and ladders clip into place. I would like to get a tank that is even lower and wider with baffles in it.
Sick setup Richard !!
Thanks! Now I need to get a big sign to put on the back of it. My old magnetic door signs that I had been using have ugly oxidized & faded paint.
Get yourself a piece of aluminum, install it and get me dimensions. I can make you a sign and mail it so you can apply it.
And yes, I fixed the deal with your logo to cut it proportional to the text
That would be great! You got the gig!
While I’m at it I’ve got to give you kudos for the great decals that you made for me. So if anybody out there needs some really great custom decals of your company name and logo to put on your vehicle, buckets, or any other object…Puntadigital is the man and can fix you right up! He’s got the equipment to do it right! So give your decal & sign business to a brother window cleaner.
Thanks for the kind words Richard - let me know what you have in mind and dimensions.
If you have no ideas yet let me have your website address so i can see what theme you got going on and I can design a test sign.
