Why did you ask that question then Mike… You already know the capabilities of the unger zero degree handle. Lol
I saw a video that someone put an ettore quick release on the 0 degree, anyone tried that? Instead of screw it loose when change rubber
I was hoping someone knew better than me. Angle arms or something
I use to have it set up that way but it does not work perfectly. I switched the back plate to an Ettore style, no teeth. I can slide the channel in and pull it out to change channels now. I have it screwed down tight enough so it doesn’t let the channel fall out but loose enough so it can be pulled out.
On a side note the Ettore quick release levers work perfectly on the ledger handles.
The screws are a bit to long they affect your close out.
@BostonMike suggestion works good, we have ours just tight enough not to move in the handle if you bump a frame but loose enough if give it a good tug you can change out the channel.
Ok, are you guys using ettore or unger channel in it?
Ettore brass channels
On a side note I prefer Unger brass handles over Ettore brass handles
Unger s channel.
Perhaps I should see if the Unger brass handle quick release backplate with teeth works well on my Unger zero degree handle. Uniformity
The backplate with teeth still causes issue with closing out @BostonMike
Alright, its a great handle but its kind of annoying when flip or change rubber.
Lol not really its a great tool, It doesn’t take long to change things out.
Yeah, maybe it’s not a big deal lol. But still a quick release that worked whould be great.
I’m gonna give it a try. Also I’m thinking about getting an Unger swivel handle, to switch from Ettore super system handle, after watching Marks video above.
The swivel handle is good tge one thing I dislike ( it gets in the way is the dial (sso we shaved it down)…
I shaved mine down as well!! Now that’s funny
Those nuts on the backplate above stick out more than the brass Unger handle backplate for sure
Heres our zero degree, I think the unger backing plate works just fine no real need to change what works EVERY TIME…
