Yep, a PC is just like a motorcycle. Inexpensive compared to a real vehicle, impressive mainly to children and not good for much except crashing.
ouch!
That was the tame pic.
I Googled motorcycle crash and saw what I thought was a pile of motorcycle riding clothes/gear on the side of the road…then I noticed a face in the pile with no head attached to it…just a face that was skinned right off the head.
Steve, have you personally ever owned a Mac? If so, which one?
Yes,
This:
and this:
Didn’t like either of them
Then THIS is really irrelevant. Just because you didn’t like your Macintosh from 1992 doesn’t mean that it’s hard to choose between Macs and PCs.
Can I get ANYONE on here who is just absolutely crazy about their PC, having used a Mac (newer than 2005) but still loving the PC so much more that they went BACK to the PC?
Doubt it. Once you go Mac, you never go back. PC = Piece of Crap.
Michael, you’re taking this entirely too seriously.
I have been accused of such a thing before, when it comes to Apple. What can I say, I love my Mac!! Lock me up, officer!
I consider E-mail a critical form of contact. Most of my clients (mostly over 40) are up with the joneses more than you think. Just dont spam em’. It’s great because it’s a less intrusive form of contact than phone, but leaves you an opening to make an actual phone call a couple days later. “Hey Bonnie this is joe the window cleaner from think clean windows, just wanted to follow up on my email…”
The nation is moving towards a greener mind set and I think little things like that will win a couple sappy earth minded folks.
I hate to perpetuate such a stupid argument (because there is none) but…
This threads gonna get locked or erased lol
Thats a great app. I just installed it today and used it 2 times already. Thanks for the idea.
You’re really gonna love Invoice2go. It’s worth the $10 for the full version.
If you’re having a hard time getting email, just throw it in when you’re getting their address and such by saying, “…and for billing and invoicing purposes, what is your email address?..” If they ask, ensure them that you won’t be selling their addresses, but they’ll receive the 4x annual seasonal promotions from your company.
MBA-11" - perfect for the mobile office.
I use GG4.
I’m gonna give that app a go. I think when you can do things like that it shows real savvy. I’m gonna Dec do some practice invoice though. I learned that if you don’t practice something like that you end up looking a little clumsy. It happened once when I was trying to do an iPad slideshshow I had made. Eventually I gave the customer my iPad and she was drawing on it lol
I do the same Joe. However, I’m not satisfied with my current invoice app. I’m using a free app called U-Owe-Me. Can you recommend another?

I downloaded the i2g app and it’s pretty sweet. I think I’ll use it;)
I have been using invoice2go for almost a year, first on my iPhone and now on my iPad. The iPad version has more bells and whistles and is easier to show your client. Keep in mind that the two are not interactive. The iPhone and iPad do not talk except through the desktop version of the program which is considerably more expensive.
I would be interested in printing sometimes. What app for the iPhone or IPad would work best for using the AirPrint or wireless printers? I looked at several on the App store and only a few had good reviews I email 90 % of my invoices but for those few I would like to be able to print onsite

If you have an AirPrint printer and an updated iOS then Printing should already be an option without an aap.
If you have a Mac, you can print wirelessly from an iPhone or iPad through your computer using “Printopia” - $10
I’ve tried other things like “WePrint” for PC but that didn’t work for me.
Airprinter? Does that mean a printer with Bluetooth or something different?
I downloaded the lite version of i2go.
I’ll play with it today. Has anybody else tried a different iPhone app?

Any HP printer with AirPrint ability should function with the iPhone already if it is running the latest IOS. This feature is built right into the phone now and cost nothing (as far as I know anyway)
If your stuck using a Droid or something then maybe there is an aftermarket app or something you can buy.
