I am doing a large driveway tomorrow and was looking into buffing with a hot water unit, the rental guy said that the seals within my buffer will break to the heat, any of you have advise in this matter?
Doubtful. What surface cleaner do you have (buffer as you call it)?.
Turn the t-stat down on the burner.
As I only have a cold unit, I’m not sure I can help.
Maybe someone with a hot washer can chime in, just curious why can’t you just use a cold washing unit instead of hot?
We have a hot water unit. Our surface cleaner is rated for up to 220 degrees F. We’ve not
had any problems with our seals wearing out yet, but we’re aware that they do need replacing
from time to time. You should be fine.
